The Turtle Mountain region has the advantage of easy access to the United States market. Located just 25 kilometres north of the Manitoba-North Dakota border, Boissevain and area is an ideal location for export industries.

The Boissevain port of entry provides a 24 hour customs link between Canada and the United States.

Highway 10, which passes through Boissevain, serves as a major trucking route for imported and exported goods. It connects with the Trans-Canada Highway at Brandon, 75 kilometres north of Bolssevain.

A 24 hour USA border crossing is only 15 minutes south of Boissevain. Accesss to CP railway and access to two main highways, #10 highway (south to US, north to Brandon) and #3 highway just tp the south
