As of April 1, 2024, key fobs are required to access all bulk water fill stations within the municipality.
The Municipality of Boissevain-Morton has implemented Access & Monitoring Systems at all five Bulk Water Fill Stations that will promote water conservation, allow monitoring of usage and reporting, and to recover costs of providing this service. To access water from a rural well or treated water at the water treatment plant, a key fob is required as of April 1, 2024.
A key fob must be purchased and authorized through the Boissevain-Morton Municipal Office during regular office hours. Once key fob has been purchased, users will be directed to set up an online user account, which allows convenient management and payment with credit cards right from your smartphone. Accounts must be prepaid prior to accessing water. With a key fob, water fill stations are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and allow you to start and stop the pump.
